Equipment

Twin set diving tanksHaving the correct tools for the job is an old saying for successful completion of any project. This is even truer with underwater work. The underwater durations and depths that our diver can acheive would not be possible without the correct technical diving equipment and expertise in its use. We are continually updating and getting more equipment for deeper diving work - we are the only facilty in Jordan that has this equipment!

Multiple tanks

Multiple tanks

To acheive these deeper depths and longer dive durations our divers need to carry multiple tanks. Proper technical dive harnesses for each diver are utilsed - normal single tank diving equipment would not be strong enough! When these tanks impede the divers ability to work at depth they are staged while the work is carried out. Most of the carried tanks will be used in the latter stage of the dive at shallower depths to complete decompression requirements. Support divers may then be utilised in standard diving equipment to check on the decompessing divers and ensure their safety, by delivering liquids for rehydration, swapping over tanks, bringing extra gas and recovering tools used at depth.

Gas Blending Facility

Trimix blending panel None of this would be possible without our state of the art gas blending facilty as air is a gas that is used infrequently in technical diving. Nitrox is used for depths down to 40m and Trmix is used beyond that. The air used in the blending process has to be extra filtered to enable safe mixing with medical grade Oxygen and diving grade Helium and reduce contaminates that could prove fatal to the diver at depth.

Technical Dive Training

To start your technical dive training in Jordan you will need be a PADI Rescue Diver or equivalent and have an enriched air certification.

Mixed Gas Diving

To learn how to function at deeper depths in safety you will need to learn to use Trimix gases, if you are qualified in technical diving this is the next step.

Nitrox Diving

To extend the time a diver can remain underwater training in the use of Nitrox gas mixes is required also needed to start technical dive training.

Gas Blending

To provide varios gas mixes for diving you need to be trained in safe gas blending techniques both for Enriched Air mixes and Helium mixes.

Rebreather Diving

At the cutting edge of diving is rebreather technology. You can start your rebreather training in Jordan on a Semi Closed unit before progressing to more complex systems.
