Lost Ferry Ramp - Aqaba Diving Services successfully located a ferry ramp that had been lost from an Arab bridge Maritime ship off the ferry terminal. Two divers equipped with breathing gases and equipment for depths of up to 120m conducted a proven search technique and located the ramp in just under twenty minutes.Full story...
Planning Recoveries
Further deep dive work on the ramp was carried out to determine if recovery was economically viable. Also a photographic survey was completed for insurance purposes. It was decided to leave the ramp where is was as recovery operations would take several days due to the depth of the ramp and the position of recovery vessels would impede entry and exits from the port for a longer period of time than was acceptable.Diver Recovery
In May 2007, a local Navy diver went missing after a joint underwater navigation exercise with the US Navy. Search by the United States and Jordanian Navies failed to locate the diver. Aqaba Diving Services were called to cover the deeper depths on the search area with support of both Navies Our team located and recovered the lost diver from a depth of 60m.
